Speakers include:
Lianne Fuino Estefan, PhD, MPH, is a public health leader and senior scientist with 20 years of experience advancing violence prevention and promoting maternal and child health. She is an expert in implementation science, rigorous research and evaluation, and translating data to action to promote health equity and community-driven solutions. Dr. Estefan is a former leader at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where she advanced intimate partner violence prevention through implementation science methods, including the development of updated IPV Prevention Research Priorities and the IPV Prevention Resource for Action. She is a current Associate Consultant with EVOLVE Violence Prevention. She is a national thought partner with extensive leadership in federal public health strategy, research, and policy development. Dr. Estefan earned her PhD and MPH in public health at the University of South Florida.

Jessica Palardy, MSW, LSW is the Senior Manager of Medical Advocacy at Lutheran Settlement House. In this role she oversees partnerships with four major healthcare systems within Philadelphia and implements programming that allows survivors of intimate partner violence to access trauma-informed, strengths-based advocacy services in the medical setting. Her professional interests include the impact of relationship safety on health; IPV services in pediatric, primary care, emergency medicine, and perinatal settings; and supporting community-based participatory research.
Sydney Rolle-Stern, MPH, serves as the Assistant Program Director for Lutheran Settlement House’s Bilingual Domestic Violence Program (BDVP). She earned her Master of Public Health from LaSalle University. In her current role, Sydney oversees BDVP’s Housing Program—which includes permanent supportive housing units along with a wide a range of supportive services—and the Community Engagement Program, where she manages community partnerships and develops new collaborative opportunities to support survivors of intimate partner violence. Her professional interests include empowering survivors and ultimately changing the systems that they interact with.
