Uncornered

Leaders and frontline workers from Uncornered, a community-based organization based in Boston, explain how they leverage relationships and data to reach the city’s core influencers of violence so they can provide them with support and services that help them transform their lives and catalyze change throughout their communities. Uncornered is also active in Kansas City, Mo., and Providence, R.I. The grant from the Kaiser Permanente Center for Gun Violence Research and Education will support a collaboration with Dr. Jonathan Jay (also featured) — an assistant professor at the Boston University School of Public Health — to study Uncornered’s groundbreaking use of community-driven data mapping and social network analysis to reduce gun violence in the hardest hit neighborhoods.
